Caroline Wozniacki, Vera Zvonareva, Melanie Oudin and Zhang Ling all got the chance to sample some delicious Chinese cuisine when they gathered for a photo shoot at the Peking Garden restaurant in Alexandra House this morning. The girls tasted dim sum, Peking duck and pancakes, and watched in amazement at the traditional noodle-making display.

A Hong Long local, Ling shared her tips on how to hold chopsticks and by the end of the meal, all the girls were wielding them with panache. When asked what her favourite Chinese food was, Ling smiled and said simply, “everything”. Caroline shared that she loved pork dumplings and spring rolls, admitting that she had “tried quite a bit of Chinese food” as there are many Chinese restaurants in her home country of Denmark and she even cooks Chinese food herself sometimes. Vera confessed to loving hot and sour Chinese soup and, although Melanie hasn’t had the opportunity to sample much Chinese cuisine, she wants “to try a lot of it” whilst she’s here. She also added that she’s having a great time in Hong Kong as “everyone seems so nice.”
